Internet

People now talk about a new word: “Internet”. It is a kind of network which combines many subnetworks or computers together. Here, “inter-” means “go-between”; “-net” means “network”.

Internet is supposed to be an effective① means of communication. In a world full of various information as ours, Internet tells us some ideas about many happenings, local, national and even international. People can even see each other and talk to each other through Internet.

Internet has been part of many young people’s daily life. Youth are liable② to accept the new things or ideas. So they regard going into the “Internet” as a kind of life style. Through it, they do shopping, chat with each other and make friends or even send the letters which are called “E-mail”. Indeed, it is almost impossible to each other for them to get away from the Internet in their everyday life.
